About the GREEN campaign: The federation is striving to become much more environmentally aware and responsible this year. As part of this we launched our GREEN campaign. It has been recognised that shopping on markets is much more environmentally friendly than using your local supermarket. Currently issues hitting the news include the food miles debate and the overuse of plastic bags, as well as consumer studies demonstrating that people are being swayed more and more to the greenest options. |
